Mary's November News and Notes
Hello fellow readers!
Do y'all celebrate Thanksgiving here in the US? Or in other countries do you have your own type of Thanksgiving?
The US always has it on a Thursday, usually the last one of the month. Our children are grown, so they have their own kids and also in-laws. So in order for everyone to share Thanksgiving with loved ones and not have to rush to multiple dinners, we have our Papa and Nana Thanksgiving the week before or after. Coming the 24th we'll be having all the kids and grandkids over for dinner and then making Christmas ornaments.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving or whatever you celebrate.

My friend and author Judy Baker has a new release her 2nd post apocalypse science fiction is out. I don't read the genre, but I may start now because I loved both of hers.
Judy Baker is an author of historical western romances/suspense novels, Women’s Fictions and her new releases are her new genres, Post-Apocalyptic novels. She loves writing these genres, but when inspired by her grandmother, she started writing contemporary romantic suspense as Anna Sugg. Her contemporary novels are filled with mystery, secrets, murder, love, and ghosts. Most of all her novels have a touch of paranormal. Anna didn’t stop there her Christmas series will warm your heart.

The first one she’d accomplished and after struggling the first year, the Bistro was slowly making a name for itself. Her dreams were coming true, and she could almost taste the victory of winning the award. The nightmare was her nemesis, Grayson Moore, who is the head chef in a five-star restaurant and poised to steal the award away from her. Well, her Bistro may be small, but it would be a five-star also.
Grayson met Stefani at the Institute where they became very competitive. So much so that their classmates bet on who would make the best entrée or dessert. It had been fun and friendly, or so he thought. When a restaurant recruits him for their Chicago location he’s thrilled, until he finds out that Stefani considers him her nemesis and direct competition. He isn’t sure how to change her mind, or if he even should.
When he has the audacity to join her Holiday Cooking Club, things really heat up.

The Holiday Cooking Club. Stefani will be adding her easy recipes and holiday special from her cooking club and her weekly classes Cooking on a shoestring. Here is one of her first easy recipe from her classes.

Easy Peasy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies - 6 cookies
1 cup Pumpkin pancake/waffle Mix
1 Egg
1 1/2 Tbsp. Butter (1/3 cube) melted.
1/2 Tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Pepper to taste
Preheat to 350 degrees. This is a great recipe because you can make a small amount at a time.
in a bowl add the mix, then stir in the egg, pour in the butter a little at a time. The batter will be a bit lumpy. (see picture above) Spoon onto a pan that has been sprayed with oil. Back for 11-13 minutes.
