It's Football in the garden
Sorry I'm late folks, I blame it on Utah Football. We went to tailgate about 2 pm yesterday afternoon, the game was at 6:30 pm. And we didn't get home until midnight.
Yes today I'm tired, and I think a little hungover. It was all that vodka and mixer I drank. I vaguely remember talking the politician into giving me a free shirt. Why? I don't know.
The main thing, the Utes won. Barely. In overtime.
Yesterday we had easy tailgating food, so I really have no recipes to share. We had brauts and burgers, chips and some pasta salads. My friend did bring a salad that was very good, and if/when I get the recipe I'll post it.
Next week we'll be doing breakfast at tailgating--hopefully dutch oven, I'll try for the recipes and post them.
Also, if you like Elk, watch for some recipes. My son got a Elk with his bow the other day and I've asked him to share some recipes.
