April News and Notes

Welcome to Mary's Garden blog where imagination blooms. It's so nice to have a bit of spring. Let's have a positive spring quote of the day!

You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.
~~Les Brown

Today's quote spoke to me!

April things going on: April is a busy month for me. First Easter!

Happy Easter!
Next week: (9th through 11th) the annual writing retreat I attend with my three close writing friends. We start with lunch, you know get all the chit chat out at the beginning. Then we check into our OWN rooms (I'm too chatty to share) to WRITE, Edit, Repeat! That is literally our Logo!
I don't think I need to describe our weekend. We are very productive and it rejuvenates our passion for our craft.
This month on Two Authors we have guest Lisa MacDonald from LDM Graphics. We discussed how an eye catching cover design is essential to an author. She also touched on back cover blurbs.

Please watch the interview, more details here...

And as always there is a Giveaway, don't miss out.

I will also be participating in N. N. Light April Giveaway.
And last but not least, I injured my knee just after Christmas and now I have to have it repaired. I will be having a knee replacement on April 19th. Not a full one, but a clean out of the meniscus and fixing something called a Baker's Cyst and last but not least a resurfacing of my knee cap because I have not cartilage.

So as you can imagine I may be absent for a few weeks.

Wish me luck!

Thank you for your continued support. Have a wonderful April.
