Two new books for you!

Welcome to the garden! I'm excited because this week I'm sharing the release of two great books. Nope, not mine! You'll hear all about it, first you need to fill your plates with goodies, grab a beverage, and then find a seat. The weather has decided to be nice--for to day anyway.

I have two friends who had new releases with in the last week, so I thought I'd share because they are great books. Let's start with Stanalei Fletcher, it's the first book of a series. This is a great book and I believe there will be five books in the series. I know the 2nd book will be here soon. Without further ado, here is Proving Ground

A bit about Stanalei Fletcher:

Stanalei's love of writing romance stems from reading favorites such as Grimm's Fairy Tales, Barbara Cartland and Alistair MacLean. She has over twenty years of training in the martial arts and holds the rank of Sandan, a third degree black belt, in Aikido. After a taste of life on both U.S. coasts, she now resides in the beautiful Rocky Mountains with her hero and best friend - her husband. Together they enjoy the open road astride a Harley, visiting museums and our National Parks.

Proving Ground
Screw-ups don’t get second chances. That’s what Caitlin Malone
believes when she returns to Oregon after failing her first Northstar Security assignment. When she inadvertently stumbles across a plot to steal deadly pathogens from the bio-lab near her hometown, she sees a chance at redemption.

USDA Forest Ranger, John ‘Mac’ MacAlistair, doesn’t want to babysit the motorcycle club holding their annual rally in his national forest. To make matters worse, Caitlin is attending the rally with Mac’s estranged uncle. Having her home again brings up feelings that are better left buried.

It’s early September. Any spark will send the dry timber into a raging fire. The terrorists are counting on that distraction to work in their favor. When Caitlin is trapped by the wildfire, her only hope of rescue is pinned on Mac, the man she's tried two years to forget. Before they can share their feelings, Mac and Caitlin must first escape the burning forest and stop the terrorists from releasing the deadly pathogens.

Now on to Anna Sugg, the third book of her Yellow Creek Series came out this week. Spirit Catcher. You'll have to catch up with the first two, check her Web site.

A bit about Anna Sugg:
Anna Sugg, a southerner at heart, loves the surrounding mountains and the desert valleys of her western home. When not writing the stories that fill her head, Anna loves the outdoors. Her favorite thing to do is read while enjoying the surrounds of her wildflower garden. Her book, Secret Past, a Yellow Creek novel, was inspired by her grandmother, who died many years ago. While searching through her grandmother old farm house in Tennessee, Anna knew she had to write her story and the two books to follow.

Spirit Catcher
When Charlotte Jane Matheson hangs the ancient Dream Catcher on the wall over her bed,
she has weird dreams. Stirred by her dreams, she travels to the small community of Yellow Creek, Tennessee, determined to find out their meaning. While there, she meets an old Cherokee Indian, a dog that suddenly appears out of the dark woods, and a good-looking farmer-wannabe. Then, her dreams stop, but unexplained visions draw her into the past through a circle of light.

The phenomenal images of her mother, who’s been missing for over a decade, has to mean something when she’s led to a cave beyond the Cherokee burial grounds. Is the old Indian a true Cherokee, or a witch? Can he help her understand her visions and their meanings?

How is a missing employee connected to her property in Yellow Creek? And, why is the mysterious, farmer-wannabe always in the right place to help when she’s in need? What does he want from her? What does it all mean?
