Reviews, an Interview, and a book signing!

Welcome to Mary's Garden where imagination blooms. Today's quote: When you wake up every day, you have two choices. You can either be positive or negative; an optimist or a pessimist. I choose to be an optimist. It’s all a matter of perspective.
~~Harvey Mackay

This month has been a wild ride. And it's only the 18th. I've been sharing random reviews on social media, I decided to add them all to one blog. I'm overwhelmed with the responses from readers. I appreciate all my readers and all the feed back I have been receiving. First a little bit about the book!

Deadly Deception
A blink of an eye. That’s all it took for her life to change forever. After two years, Marcie Faraday still doesn’t believe the crash that took her family was an accident. She is determined to find the answers, even if the truth puts her in danger.

Detectives Booker Dixson and Lashelle Valentine must deliver the news to Jonas Faraday’s widow which is the worst part of their job. Neither believes it should have been ruled an accident.

Booker and Lashelle uncover a connection between Marcie’s late husband and her father’s medical clinical trial. Coincidence or ploy? Booker Dixson does not believe in coincidence.

Deadly Deception is a thrilling journey to uncover the secrets that threaten to shatter the perfect picture of Marcie and her family.

Her featured book: YaYa House
Four friends, a special house, and a journey into sisterhood.
Anne loved her life. She had a wonderful husband, children, and grandchildren. In a blink of an eye, she was widowed and searching for something more...searching for herself.
When she sells her home and moves eight hundred miles away to her dream house on the beach, it will take the love and support of her sisters--her best friends, to help her convince those she left behind that she wasn't running away. She's running to a new life and new adventures.
My rating 5 stars:
It's a great women's fiction. It's well written. As the subject matter hits home to me on so many levels I really enjoyed it. Great job Judy Baker!

Stanalei Fletcher
Stanalei's love of writing romance began by reading favorites such as Grimm's Fairy Tales, Alistair MacLean, and Tom Clancy.
Many of her stories fall into the contemporary and romantic suspense genres and are filled with action-adventure woven through dangerous circumstances. But she also likes to dabble with the paranormal. She's even been fortunate to have her stories final in a few contests.
After a taste of life on both U.S. coasts, she now reside near the beautiful Wasatch Mountains with her husband.
Together, they enjoy back country dirt trails on a RZR, visiting our National Parks, or exploring museums and ghost towns. She has over twenty years in the martial arts and holds the rank of Sandan, a third degree black belt, in Aikido.

Readers may join her Reader's Club and be first to get news of cover reveals, release dates, and more!
You can read more on her web site...

Her featured book: Into Something Good
Cayme Foster returns home to deal with her mom's fatal illness and is faced with memories and secrets
she'd rather forget. Her old crush and his adorable eight-year-old son will make it even more difficult to leave town again.
Single dad Rick Morrison had his shot at marriage and isn't willing to risk rejection a second time. If only he wasn't compelled to rescue Cayme whenever he's around her, making it hard to keep his distance.

He's conflicted about helping Cayme save her home, but the truth rises with the floodwaters, and they just might find love on the high ground after all.
My Rating 5 Stars:
Resolved emotional issues and great adventure. You'll love Cayme and Rick! Great job Stanalei!

Sara Fitzgerald has her own zany American Eskimo dog, a “meramazing” daughter, a computer geek husband, and lots of Avon boxes her family has to skirt around during their hectic lives.
In 2006, she earned Writer of the Year for the League of Utah Writers and is a multi-published, award-winning author. She loves her family, writing, selling Avon, and favorite shade of lipstick—Avon’s Triple Pink.

Her featured book: Pink and more pink!
Hailey Smith is a busy mom with an adorable eight-year-old daughter, Ella, who believes she is a mermaid and their crazy American Eskimo dog is a dolphin. Needless to say, Ella has an incredible imagination and loves the ocean even though they live in Utah, a freezing desert.
Hailey is a sales rep for Beauty, a direct selling cosmetics company. She is a widow, raising Ella by herself.

Nick Stevens loves the ocean and his beach house in sunny California, but due to a turbulent breakup, he needs to get as far away from his beloved home. His company promised him a quiet neighborhood free of kids, dogs, and distractions.

As soon as he sees Hailey and her crew, he realizes all that is out the window. But the more he’s around Hailey, her adorable daughter, and crazy dog, he finds his neighbors less and less annoying and more endearing. Leaving him to wonder if indeed he would trade his ocean for something even more beautiful.

Will Hailey get a Valentine’s this year or end up with a broken heart?
My rating 5 stars: This is a sweet romance. This will be your favorite! It's a quick fun read. Great job Sara.

No, I do not give all my author friends 5 stars, ONLY the ones who deserve it.
