Lime Chicken in the garden

Something I threw together for dinner. I love when I can't figure out what to make and I just grab stuff I have and it turns out. That isn't always the case.

Lime Chicken 2 servings
2 Chicken breasts (6 oz each)
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 medium Onion chopped
2 Serrano Peppers chopped (seeds optional)
2 Tbsp Lime juice
2 cloves garlic chopped
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp. Savory
Make small cuts in chicken and pat drive. In bowl mix broth, veggies and spices. Place chicken and roll to make sure it's covered. Spoon veggies over the top and cover bowl. Let marinate for a couple of hours. Spray fry pan and add everything. Cook on medium until tender. Serve over rice. Pairs well with Riesling.

My mother did a lemon chicken which was always a hit.
Chicken breast cut in bite size pieces. She'd then saute then in butter and at the end the juice of one fresh lemon.
Served over rice.
To this day it's one of the meals I make and think of her everytime I make it.
