Nicole Jordan Review / To Pleasure a Lady

To Pleasure A Lady
Nicole Jordan
Ballantine Books 2008

This is the first book of The Courtship Wars trilogy. It is fantastic, and I already have To Bed A Beauty waiting on the bed stand to start this evening. That's if I can stay awake since I was up until 2:30 am finishing this one.

Marcus Pierce is not only wicked in reputation, but wicked handsome. He inherits guardianship of Arabella Loring and her two sisters. His plans are to give them suitable diaries and marry them off into proper marriages.

Arabella Loring does not want to be married off. Her parents marriage was possibly the worst marriage in history. Both caused scandals and the Loring sisters were still paying for it. However, they'd been able to pull themselves up and above it all by starting a finishing school for young ladies. They were now self sufficient, thank you very much.

Marcus decides the only way to deal with his wards is to make a visit to the estate. However, what he finds is an irrisitable attraction to his oldest ward. He wants her for his own and sets out to make her his wife. What he doesn't count on his falling in love with the vixen.

Arabella and Marcus sizzles sexual tension page after page. It's a wonderful and fast paced story and Ms. Jordan has penned an excellent tale that leaves the reader chopping at the bit for the next.
I give this a 5 Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
