Tuesday Ramblings

Sorry I'm late. And it's going to be short and sweet. I try to schedule my posts before I go to bed. I actually lost track of time editing. I hate to edit, so that's unusual. As a result here I am mid-morning posting and I'm not prepared.

How about we discuss your favorite brunch drink. Mine is a toss up between a Mimosa, easy and quick, orange juice and champagne, and a crisp Presecco. Italy's sparkling wine.

So let's discuss. And as incentive to discuss; I'm going to have a give-a-way. I can't afford to do this all the time, however I'm trying to build my followers. I also would like those followers to be genuinely interested in my blog, and enjoy reading it.

I'd love to have you give me your opinion on the blog topic, or your opinion on wines or wineries you've visited. And/or become a follower. Starting back in time--yesterday. Anyone who does all of the above between 6/28 and 7/9 will get their name in a drawing for a mug and $10 GC to Starbucks.
Okay let the discussion begin! Today, what is your favorite Brunch drink?

Sorry Mary; I can't stand OJ, so mimosa's are out for me:) However, I've fallen in love with Oliver Soft Red (Oliver is an Indiana winery) as well as Winzerwald Blueberry Wine (Winzerwald is another Indy winery).

And confessing here...When I do eat brunch, I usually get hot chocolate! Don't go to many places which serve alcohol anymore.

Molly,
It's about 100 degrees here, even the thought of Hot Chocolate, TOO HOT. LOL.

I will have to pick up a bottle of Oliver or Winzerwald. Though in Utah my choices are limited!

Thanks for the tip and nice to hear from you.

I've had Mimosas for brunch, but my favorite drink is a Bloody Mary.

My favorite brunch drink. Well I've really got two. First is Starbucks Columbian. Second is Pimm's Cup. It's a mix of Pimm's No. 1 and lemonade with, believe it or not, cucumber for garnish.

What i really love at a brunch is Lemon-Lime perrier and a lovely Limoncello.

Andrea, I love Bloody Mary's. Okay what can I say, I'm a lush.

Lindsay, cucumber garnish? Mmm I'll have to try that. Maybe.

Traveler,
Limoncello is one of my favorites. It reminds me of my time in NYC eating in Little Italy.

My favorite brunch drink would be a 50/50 combination of pineapple juice and orange juice. I've never had a mimosa and I'm not much for wine.

Kimberly a bit of bubbly would go well in your favorite drink though!

I must say Mimosas, too. I served them with Mother's Day brunch. Needless to say, mother felt no pain when she left my place (thank goodness for the designated driver - my father!)

Thanks,

now a follower :)

I don't drink wine, but my fav drink is Coca cola.
Lindsay said…
Dina,
You could always put a drop or two of rum in the cola. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Tracy, I like your mom!

Dina, I agree with Lindsay add a wee bit of rum!
